First Week

What an exciting and amazing week! I am so proud to have each and every one of the 19 students in my class!

This week, our main focus was establishing a routine in our classroom. We learned where things were in our school and room. We also learned how to use several pieces of technology in our class, including the Promethean board and some programs on Mrs. Lambert's Apple Computer.

This upcoming week, we will be exploring primary sources, such as pictures and oral histories, as evidence in a family or community. We will also begin our explorations into comprehension skills, several short vowel sounds, and work with counting!
